Here are some of my favorite places to eat and drink in the center of Bruges. Whether you're looking for a great coffee, a cozy lunch spot, a delicious dinner, or a place to enjoy a Belgian beer, these are the places I would personally recommend:

A quietly located gem with a warm atmosphere, run by my lovely neighbour, and serves delicious breakfast and brunch dishes - HIDE:
A stylish hidden gem, tasty brunch dishes, and a relaxed atmosphere away from the crowds - Brapas:
A cozy spot offering delicious small plates and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere in the heart of the city (the food is sooo cute!) - NOMAD:
A laid-back and trendy café, and I especially love their bread, it’s absolutely delicious

A charming café run by a young entrepreneur, known for its homemade pastries, great coffee, and a hip, colorful interior - Stera:
A cozy café just outside the city center, still within walking distance, known for its lush green vibe, lots of plants, and relaxed atmosphere - Matin Midi:
A stylish café with a sunny terrace, great coffee, and delicious sweets like waffles, pancakes, and ice cream sundaes (stop by there if I am closed, just kidding :-)) - Aux Merveilleux:
A charming bakery known for its fantastic pastries and delicious sugar bread
APERO/CAFE:

A cozy bar in my street, perfect for enjoying drinks and sharing plates in a relaxed atmosphere - Republiek:
A lively local hangout with a great terrace, good drinks, and a creative atmosphere that attracts both locals and visitors - Blend:
A cozy wine bar with an excellent wine selection and friendly, knowledgeable service - Brapas:

DINNER:

One of my favorites: a wonderful Sicilian restaurant serving authentic dishes, fresh ingredients, and some of the best Italian food in Bruges (the pizzas are insane!!! It's also better to make a reservation) - De Pepermolen:
A long-standing local favorite, known for its delicious Belgian cuisine and consistently warm hospitality (make a reservation!) - 't Fraeyhuis:
A beautiful restaurant in a unique green setting (very romantic), perfect for enjoying refined dishes and a relaxed dinner - Atelier Flori:
A fully vegan restaurant in my street, known for its delicious plant-based dishes and outstanding service (do not skip this one!) - Bar Rose Red:
A tapas and sharing restaurant with a beautiful interior and excellent service - Cookies:
A hidden tapas restaurant in one of the smallest streets of Bruges, known for its amazing food and cozy setting - MAS:
A popular walk-in tapas restaurant with a bold interior and exceptionally tasty dishes - Ribs 'n Beer:
A popular spot in Bruges known for its delicious ribs and relaxed, lively atmosphere (try the ribs in chocolate sauce, it's insane!!!)
